I’ve oft commented that the RP on ThoBro is as dead as a Zombie that has just cut down, set fire to and left to rot in the snow for the last three weeks. I beg to differ on your comment about "Epic Fail is the fate of every RP tavern". There is an RP tavern on Shadow Council A-Side that has been around since practically the beginning of the server, and though ownership has changed several times over the years, it is still a place to meet friends, hang out and have a drink and RP.

...Wow...If they'd charge less, I'd actually belive they wouldnt flounder. The website's not total crap, and if the 'job application' were less extensive, this could work.

However, the prices and wages are total BS. I made more in tips for cheap 10 silver drinks as a waitress on me shammy.

Running the numbers: Assuming two waiters, one barkeep and a manager are there all night, every night, it comes to 2475 gold/week for wages. Which means they're gonna have to sell a lot of overpiced drinks just to break even.

I dun think that's gonna happen.

Once, on WrA, there was this guild. It was 'ran' by a DK who didnt RP too much, so a belf hunter mostly made the desisions and organized everything, including events. It was so much fun, and I RP'ed most nights as a waitress. We used the bar in the Wayfarer's inn, in SMC, and we got alot of regular customers.

Then, shit hit the fan when 'Winterprince' tried to reclaim 'his' bar. Downward spiral later, there IS no bartender anymore besides a occasional guildless person.

This sounds like someone trying to make a quick buck off RPers while not knowing anything about RP themselves.
