In other news, Grey's Anatomy made its (long-awaited?) return this evening with a double episode of DRAMA and such. Apparently I've watched a lot of television-on-the-internet since I got home from work tonight...!

Okay, so I totally gave up on Grey's, but I looked at a recap for the episode last night and when I saw that Cristina almost (okay, so she did) kill Alex, I ran to SideReel and found the episode just so I could skip to the scene.

I wonder if they'll write about what was causing the arythmia (probably spelled that wrong, but whatever). My medical knowledge is pretty low, so I don't know if it was just random or what, but if it's something more serious, I might need to start watching again. Haha.

And Meredith's face when Cristina said she almost killed him! It was like "WTF?! Rewind and explain!"

And Alex yelling at Cristina that they're all he has. ♥ My heart. ALEX!

*goes to see if the Alex scenes have been posted on YouTube so she can add it to her favorites*

Arrhythmia, btw... And my (albeit limited) understanding of them is that there's plenty of different types and that they range from not serious at all, all the way through to deadly. It's entirely possible that Alex has an arrhythmia that he could have lived his entire live not knowing about and never had a problem. It was possibly only the rapid injection of epinepherine that caused the cardiac arrest. So yeah, it legitimately may never come up again as a storyline... sorry, bb! (Though, in fic? Not so much! Haha!).

As for watching this show, I was initially thinking I'd take it week by week. Admittedly, I'm no where near as invested as I used to be which makes taking all the inevitable CRAP with a grain of salt and totally enjoying the moments of AWESOME all that much more. And this episode actually had it's fair share of Moments of AWESOME. Including all the Alex/Cristina, Alex/Meredith, Meredith/Cristina moments. LOVED THEM ALLLLLL! And if there was ever one thing gonna suck me back into this show, it was that!

Oh, and also, the Gex shipper in me needs to see a fic where Alex saw George. I NEED IT. No matter how little I'm in the fandom anymore, I need it!

Given how awful the fake background at the candle house is I can assume I missed nothing from the CGI of doom. Also, I slept without dreaming about sinkholes, so I feel good about my choices.

Fucking Mark Sloan and his stupid facial hair and tiny dick and inability to act. Le sigh. See, soaking up all my Arizona hate.

Jackson and Lexie totes got their haircuts together. And it was so adorable.

The MER/CRIS/ALEX WAS TOO PERFECT FOR WORDS! (I can't remember if anything happened that didn't involve those three characters...!)

Okay, so honestly? Yeah, there will be moments that you'll hate, but the good? IT IS SERIOUSLY VERY GOOD.

I think I actually really quite enjoyed it. WONDERS WILL NEVER CEASE!

(Though it does help that I'm not as invested as I used to be and can let the crap go much more easily, there is also that).
