In other news, Grey's Anatomy made its (long-awaited?) return this evening with a double episode of DRAMA and such. Apparently I've watched a lot of television-on-the-internet since I got home from work tonight...!

Though for all my love of disasters I actually have a really hard time watching them and thus, missed the apparently terrible CGI that was going on.
I can't even judge Lexie's bangs because she was barely in the episode and I missed her. Though I prefer invisible Lexie to being harassed by Mark some more Lexie, so there is that.
Also, nice that she and Jackson could get haircuts over the five days that passed. OTP and all of that.
I swear, the more Eric Dane magically, rapidly ages the more Justin Chambers gets magically younger. And hotter. So much hotter.
And I volunteer Lexie to rip his shirt off weekly.
I didn't even (mostly) hate Arizona this week, because if they used her like this (you know, like how they used to) as someone who has no story of her own and all, I mostly just go oh, she's there, not fall in a hole and die already.
Which is reserved for Mark. Oh, Mark, I hate you and your nonacting self so much.
I was never really worried about the Alex/Mer stuff (and actually figured it was going to happen about that quickly) but I did worry about Alex/Cristina and was happily when they kind of perfectly (in my mind, anyway) made up like that. So yay.
Also Zola is the cutest baby in the entire world and Mer should get to keep her just so I can see her be adorable every week. Also, maybe Alex and Mer (and Cristina) should be raising her.

You missed approximately NOTHING with the CGI. It was spectacularly AWFUL. Even watching on a computer screen couldn't hide the fact that it was just so unrealistic!
Yes, at least Mark did all his LExie-harrassing via Jackson this episode. Maybe he's growing? You never know! He might even be able to walk past her without making a snide comment next week. Progress, y'all! (blergh).

You are so right about JC getting hotter! I DID NOT THINK THIS POSSIBLE BUT IT TOTALLY HAS BEEN!!! And for a dude with FIVE KIDS?! Go Justin! And yep, Lexie can totes rip his clothing off any time she likes. Or Cris. Or Mer. Or April. Really, I'm not fussy. I just need more chest!Alex in my life.
I also didn't mostly hate Arizona and I also hope they keep using her the way they did in these two eps. I give her permission to carry Sofia around every now and then, and be awesome to Alex.
Yeah, I wasn't too worried about Mer/Alex making up. Just more about them actually being SHOWN to make up (due to my season seven time jump of dooooom induced wariness when it comes to actually showing things on my screen and not just telling me they happened after the fact...). And I also agree that I think the Alex/Cris make up was handled perfectly. Both are the scream once and then move on and forget about it types (most of the time) and I felt it was very in character and real and PERFECT and I may wanna fic it. Right now.
Also, I have post ep Alex/Lexie fic thoughts. Do you trust me to run with them, or do you want something specific? Or do you want to wait for a few more eps before you choose something? I am happy with all of these options...
