Yeah, that India/Pakistan game was KER-RAZY INTENSE! There were brawls in Sydney between fans and everything!! South Africa is going to be a tough match for you guys, they are travelling quite nicely at the moment.

Australia have to beat New Zealand on Saturday to avoid a NZ based quarter final (which is the downside to the washed out match), and that is likely going to be tough too. NZ are on fire.

I CANNOT EVEN TELL YOU. YOU ARE MY SPIRIT ANIMAL!!! But yes, obviously you are right about 2011. OBVIOUSLY.

*I'm pretty sure I have drastically underpacked and will have to wear the same three outfits for the whole time we're away. OH WELL.

Ha ha, I find it funny that you adored Walter while I hated him, but in MoS, it's the reverse. I LOVE BILL. He's complicated!! I don't even care that much about Virginia, but Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan are smoking together, dear God. I just find Bill so compelling. Yeah, he can be an asshole, but he's got a lot lot lot of demons to fight. The second season delves into another side of Bill, which I loved, but the season as a whole was a little uneven, I felt.

Glad you're enjoying the show! Now if I can get you to watch The Americans .....

I adored Walt as a character. I think he is still the best constructed (and de-constructed) character I've ever come across on television. I didn't adore him as a 'person' though, if that makes sense.

I feel like the show is always trying to sell us "POOR WOOBIE BILL BOOHOO" and I am not here for that at all. His mum was awful, his dad was awful, his childhood was awful, it's all for the sciiieenncceeee. BLERGH. No thanks. Like, in contast, I don't think Breaking Bad ever really went out of its way to give us a message about the characters, as such, or make moral judgements about them. But I think MoS is doing that a bit and because I don't feel like I agree with what they're selling, it's making it hard! Haha! I'd probably love Bill if I felt like I was meant to think he was an a-hole! But I don't think I am ( ... )
