I adored Walt as a character. I think he is still the best constructed (and de-constructed) character I've ever come across on television. I didn't adore him as a 'person' though, if that makes sense.

I feel like the show is always trying to sell us "POOR WOOBIE BILL BOOHOO" and I am not here for that at all. His mum was awful, his dad was awful, his childhood was awful, it's all for the sciiieenncceeee. BLERGH. No thanks. Like, in contast, I don't think Breaking Bad ever really went out of its way to give us a message about the characters, as such, or make moral judgements about them. But I think MoS is doing that a bit and because I don't feel like I agree with what they're selling, it's making it hard! Haha! I'd probably love Bill if I felt like I was meant to think he was an a-hole! But I don't think I am...

If the second season is even more Bill focused, then it might struggle to keep me.

I really didn't find the Bill/Virginia sex scenes smoking either. On the other hand, Virginia and Jane in their masturbation scenes...??? HOLY HELL!!! Like... seriously. Even just thinking about those scenes now...! I feel kinda dirty and it's awesome!

The Americans, okay. That's the one with Kerri Russell, right? And she's a spy? That's the full extent of my knowledge!!
