Hahaha I am a total Carrie/Brody shipper and I FUCKING LOVE IT SO MUCH DYING SO HARD!!! It's not about the sex for me, just the looks and smiles and how they are SO PERFECT for each other except their situations are totally fucked. But wow, I agree. I loooove how this show doesn't drag out the tension and just lets it all fly out and wow does it do it fantastically. I was on the edge of my seat and I was so excited for all the stakeouts and then they went it and did it.

This show BLOWS MY MIND TO SHREDS! I think it's better in terms of Breaking Bad with the plot, it just surprises me so much more. But both are amazing and I'm so glad is here to fill the BB void. WOW!!

I am a total Carrie/Brody shipper and I FUCKING LOVE IT SO MUCH DYING SO HARD!!! OOOOH! INTERESTING!! I felt sure there was an expectation amongst C/B shippers that there's be MOAR SEXEH TIEMS this season, and, therefore, sure there'd be post season four disappointment. I am v. interested to discover this is not the case!

how they are SO PERFECT for each other OH, WOW?! Really??? Pllleeease explain!!

Sidenote: There was more to my original head!meta about how Brody = Walter White, but I completely forget to add it! DAMN!! DAMN, DAMN, DAMN!!

Well the fact that they're the two main characters leads me to believe that they're going to be around awhile (although on this show you never know) so I still have hope we're get sexytinmes at some point down the road. I didn't want it on camera either, that's just no. I'm just happy they interacted and there was smiling and flirting!!

Well this is my shipper heart speaking but they both have that love of danger, they both have fucked up pasts but they find with each other that understanding of the crap they've been through (and losses), they have an obvious attraction and chemistry, they have fun together and can just be themselves. IDK I just love them and want them to be happy together. But it's Homeland so I'm having fun on the ride!

You can post other entries...I think Brody is much better than Walt heh. At least I think there could be redemption for him. I always thought he'd turn double spy where he'd pretend to work with Nazir but work against him. Or who knows what else, we'll see.

.I think Brody is much better than Walt heh. In what way do you mean 'better'? A better person, or a better character?

At least I think there could be redemption for him. Ahh! But that's just thing. I don't WANT redemption for Walter. In fact, it's the very most LAST thing I want for him. And it's the very most last thing I think his storyline is about. In fact, I think it's always been about the OPPOSITE of that. It's been about the complete and utter deconstruction of his character to the point where he's almost no longer recognisable from the guy we met in episode one. So PLEASE!!! No redemption for Walter :)

What I mean with my Brody = Walter comparison was that they're both walking a VERRRRRY questionable moral line, and yet we viewers still retain the capacity to empathise with them/root for them. And in order to justify that empathy/support, we need to question our own morality. So, yeah, it wasn't a direct comparison, more a theoretical/intellectual one, which I still stand by, btw!

OHMYGODWTFBBQ (It deserved ACTUAL WORDS FOR THE OMG BIT) LEESA, MY MIND IS BLOWN!!!! That was just about the LAST thing that I was expecting. I thought that they were aiming for B/C sexehtiems and INSTEAD THEY DID SOMETHING FREAKING EPIC! You know me, I ship everyone I can given the opportunity but the thing that I LOVE with this show is how it does the unexpected. So many shows would have taken that scene and turned it into exactly what I thought it was going to be, but instead these guys were like, NAH. WE'RE GOING TO ARREST BRODY AND LOCK HIM IN A CELL AND HIT HIM WITH SOME COLD HARD TRUTH. The "I liked you." "I LOVED YOU!" moment was so insanely well acted that I got full body chills. As the episode finished I was AGOG. The fact that it's a third of the way through the season and they've caught Brody is nothing short of ballsy. I mean yes, there are still so many threads, but WOW. You're so right in that the exciting thing is watching it all play out. It's fun sometimes to go along for the 'whodunnit' ride, but I adore the fact ( ... )

I don't even necessarily think this show is about giving us all the answers, I don't think it's about answers at all. I think it's about showcasing what happens in the immediate aftermath of a climax, whatever that climax is! How people react to each other, what new things spring from it...

Take this episode for example: I mean, we didn't really get any answers. We already KNEW Brody was a terrorist in the making. We already KNEW the CIA were onto him. We already KNEW Carrie loved him. We already KNEW that his mates were getting suspicious. We already KNEW Carrie was unstable. We didn't really get the answers to any questions this episode. What we got was the opportunity to experience the fall out. What's going to happen to Carrie? She directly disobeyed an order, but she's not technically CIA either so... does it matter? How's Dana going to handle this? What is the fall out going to mean for her? Is Brody going to be shipped to Guantanamo Bay?I just crossed all that out because I've realised on re-read that at no stage did you say ( ... )

*Flails*

I don't exactly "ship" Brody/Carrie, but I do love seeing those two together.

I loved how Carrie was enjoying her vindication in "New Car Smell".

I loved how Carrie was enjoying her vindication in "New Car Smell". Yep, me too!!

Hey, I'm interested to know... do we think her blowing the op at the end of the episode and having Brody arrested was her jumping to the wrong conclusion about him having made her? I guess we'll find out next episode how it's being viewed by Saul etc, but I guess my initial opinion was that she'd crossed the line (again). In hindsight, I'm seeing other possibilities (ie. that she was right). I DON'T KNOW!! Haha! And I'm impatient!!

In any case, Carrie seems to have worked her way back into the CIA.

Finn and Dana FTW! There's potential for so much angsty goodness there with the terrorist's daughter and his one-time (technically still?!) target's son!

Also everything else you said.

HOMELAND AND BREAKING BAD TWINS! Bitch.

I unapologetically ship Carrie/Brody, and I LOVED the huge reveal! OMG, their emotional scenes forever KILL ME DEAD, and this one was pretty much the mother of all angsty things. I completely agree what you said about Homeland and its reveals, show just breaks all rules of TV showering us w/ big reveals every ep, and it is AWESOME. That's why Revenge & Homeland have been my fav shows for two seasons, an insane amount of stuff comes to light in one episode and makes you wonder where it all could possibly go from there.

P.S. I ship Finn/Dana too, which I guess is a step up from Carrie/Brody in the 'fcked up OTPs' dept, but still. Imagine what these two are gonna be when everyone learns the truth about Brody! AAH.

Yeah, I've had a few shippers say they loved the scene now. This really surprises me because I was SURE the shippers would have been wanting more sexy times first!!

Finn/Dana. All the Finn/Dana please!
