Hi.

I'm alive.

The external hard drive that has served me faithfully and well for five or six years apparently died last night. It takes with it years worth of writing, my POV-Ray project source codes, and my music library.

Yes, I'm very happy about this. Why do you ask?

I'm told that LiveJournal is considering purging inactive accounts, so I figured I'd best log on here and say something, if I don't want to be purged. I haven't written here in a long time, because it sort of became a journal of my horrible feelings about being romantically isolated, and really, who needs that? I'm having one of those days. The kind where you feel like you're being reasonable and logical and coming up with good ideas and important points... and everyone is ignoring what you have to say.

Sigh.

One of the things I love about The L Word is the music. Whoever does their musical score is a freakin' genius.
