I had it pointed out to me that I haven't posted here in over a year. So, what's going on with Jenny?
I fell in love. She was an amazing woman, who smiled at me and took my hand and led me into her secret clubhouse. And we froliced there for six amazing months. And then she just... fell out of love with me.
No, I don't understand it, either.
So I'm in Charlotte, working, with a lease that still has nine months to run. I'll go on working, and taking some classes online, and trying to survive yet another broken heart.
I suspect I'll be alone for the rest of my life. But that's okay. I've been alone for most of my life. It was just... I really thought she and I would make it. I really thought this time would be different.
But it wasn't.
