Very well written. I could never personally be polyamorous for a million different reasons, but I'd never tell someone to have LESS love in their life. Everyone needs more love!

To each their own. I would never presume that my lifestyle is for everyone and I would hope that others would grant me the same courtesy. The article is obviously poorly written from the point of someone who just doesn't understand and has no intention of doing so.

I don't believe she did any actual research at all. Its like a piece of fundamentalists spew which someone just pasted up to make the article for that week.

As another poly girl in a happy and stable poly relationship ... I agree wholeheartedly with you.

A lot of my time with Mr. Boyfriend is spent watching movies or watching him game, or even just reading books. There's sex, but the bond we have isn't just about that.

And the relationship with Lynn has always been about the friendship and trust long before the sex.

:)

Very well written.

I hadn't known you were poly too!

Mr. Shapeshifter and I have a friendship first and foremost, as do Dorie and I. Dee and I went about it kinda backwards but we talk a lot now too.

Sex, when it happens, is wonderful but I really love the companionship and caring.

I think you explained this well. I think others are quick to judge.

I'm glad my explanations were clear. While it may not be for everyone, it's a lifestyle which works for us and works well. I like to think of it as a kind of extended community. If something happens to one of us, the others are not left alone to cope. That's especially important with my health as it is now. I'm concerned about leaving Mr. Shapeshifter alone.

Now he will not be.
