Chapter 1
Chapter 2

"David..", he walks over to the older man, stopping in front of him. "Look at me, David," he says, and David obeys, tilting his face upwards. Jason runs his knuckles lightly along David's cheekbone. "I didn't really mean that."

David remains silent for a long moment, gathering his thoughts, and losing himself into Jason's gaze. He looks away after what feels like hours.

"Jason. We need to talk."

"And what if I don't want to talk?", Jason asks, before pushing David onto his back, and crawling on top of him. Wait, what is he doing? Jason shakes off this question, as he moves up to straddle David's chest.

"Then I'd say that's all the more reason to do so," David replies firmly, upon catching his breath, having been momentarily winded from the unexpected pinning. He is determined not to look at the boy above him, he knows that in doing so all of his resistance would fade.

"And why's that?" Jason asks airily, as he places his hand on David's cheek. "Look at me, David."

David struggles to keep his gaze away from Jason, "Because we're responsible adults." It's not that he doesn't like where this is going, it's just.. well, they really should figure things out before anything happens. He really should warn Jason as to what he's getting himself into.

"I'm not," Jason purrs, "I'm just a kid, remember?" He leans it, batting his eyelashes against David's cheek, "Why won't you look at me."

David's eyes flutter shut, and he smiles softly at the butterfly kisses. He wonders if Jason realizes just how much he's making him struggle to remain calm. "I'll break you, Jason," he finally murmurs, chancing a quick glance up at him. Jason looks stunned, and David sighs softly. "Jason, did you honestly believe that I never reacted to you because I didn't notice how you felt?"

Jason just blinks down at David, wondering how the situation had changed so quickly yet again."Yes," he murmurs after a lengthy pause.

David looks at Jason sadly, "Honestly, Jay. How could I not notice the way you looked at me? The way you hung on every word I said?" He places his hand over Jason's which is still resting on his cheek. "I don't think there's been anyone who couldn't tell."

"Then why didn't you say anything?", Jason's voice breaks as he asks this. He thinks he knows why, since, obviously, if he'd known and did nothing about it, it meant that David didn't want him. But that didn't really make sense, did it?

"Because, Jason, I thought that if I let it be, it would go away. It would just fade, a passing fancy. No harm, no foul." He sighed, thinking back to the pain in Jason's voice on Thursday when he'd sung, "Clearly I was wrong. Clearly, wether I give in to you or not, you'll end up hurt." He looked up into Jason's eyes, trying desperately not to drown in them.

He pulls his hand out from beneath David's, "The only thing that will hurt me is not being with you." Jason sounds completely sure of this statement, and that is how David knows that he isn't getting through to him.

Something flashes in David's eyes, and he moves too quickly for Jason to realize what is happening, and within seconds he's on his back, with David hovering over him, pressing him down into the mattress. Jason's eyes are wide with shock, and David growls, pushing down on Jason's wrists.

"David..?"

"I'm not a good person, Jason", he growls, leaning in and kissing the younger boy roughly. "My last boyfriend? I wrecked him." He kisses a trail down Jason's neck, "Completely destroyed him," he finds Jason's pulse, kissing the spot gently before biting down, making Jason gasp. He sucks at the skin softly for a moment, before releasing it, and pulling away. "I don't want it to happen again," his voice has gone soft again, tender, "But I know it will."

Jason is still staring up at him, eyes wide with either shock or fear, David can't tell which. His breathing has quickened and he is trying so hard to get it back under control, but it's proving more difficult than it should be. David's hands are still pinning his wrists down, and he wonders if the force will leave bruises, he's always bruised easily. He wants to reach up and touch David, and for a moment he considers struggling to get free, but he knows that David is stronger, and it would be a battle that Jason could never win. His eyes slowly return to their normal size, and he meets David's gaze, trapping him.

"What if I promise you that it won't?", he whispers, "What if I promise I'm not breakable?"

"Everyone is breakable, Jay," David responds, his voice weak, "Everyone."

This isn't going to happen, Jason tells himself, he's not going to get so close to what he's been wanting for the past three weeks, and let David rip it away because he's scared. No way. He pulls one of his hands away from David's with surprising ease, only just noticing how much David's force had diminished, and reaches up, twisting his hand into the hair at the base of David's neck. He pulls himself upwards, towards David, he doesn't care if it's hard on his neck and back, and presses his lips to David's. It takes a moment for David to respond, but he does, eventually, leaning in and easing Jason back down onto the mattress.

David pulls away for a moment, looking down at Jason, who seems to get more and more beautiful and tempting by the minute. "I won't be good for you, Jason," his voice let's Jason know that he honestly believes this, "But you can have me if you want me."

Jason pulls David's face back down to his, and kisses him again. "I'll always want you," he whispers against David's lips, "Always."
