CBR has an interview with Aaron Lopresti, the new Wonder Woman artist. Gail leaked the first page of his first issue on the DC Message Boards. As I said, the page has more of a fantasy feel than the traditional superhero fare. Hard to say if that's a good thing or not.

Kevin Conroy? We're getting his voice back as Batman?

SQUEE!!! You've just made my day, because his voice *is* Batman for me.

Well, he's been announced as a voice actor. They haven't confirmed he's playing Batman. I do hope he is though!

I love Conroy's voice, but I don't think I like this move very much. I just think there needs to be a separation from BTAS and the subsequent animated series Conroy so brilliantly voiced Batman in. We're getting all of these new character designs and animation styles in GK, so having a new voice seems only right.

I hold the Animated Series by Dini, Timm and company as high as any other person, but for the sake of originality, I would have prefered Bale doing this animated take, or someone that could serve right for the role. Heck, Jeremy Sisto did more than decent as Batman in Frontier. It just seems rather frustrating that a new continuity of stories are being released by DC films, yet there's no complete feeling of freshness. Though it should be mentioned that this one is a larger improvement than the last two DC animated films.

For a project that seemed to have a label of "new" on it, and thus the excitement for it, this seems a rather odd move.

The interviews are really fun and insightful, thanks for the link! I especially like the one with Romano, and how her photo was capped with "voice director... of almost everything" lol.

Cooke's interview was really good too, though that piece of about the female characters was a bit disheartening. Probably this is one of the things that he talked about when he mentioned about how there was a lot of stuff that he managed to win over during the production.

As for Gotham Knight, as much as I love Conroy, I have to agree with 6_joker_9's post about getting a new Batman voice.
