I wish this was not accurate but I am afraid it is. Also what is unsaid is that the portion of the bailout bill that read the bailout applied only to instruments that were owned by the bank as of the date the bill passed was eliminated.

I saw this and thought it interesting as an approach to helping solve our economic crisis. I am against "freebies" as they generally reward people for doing nothing and encourage additional expectations of something for nothing. I could use the cash though.
