Alytus - patriotic signs

It is rather difficult to talk about Alytus. There are no outstanding architectural monuments in this town. As I said in one of my earlier reports modern Alytus is mainly the product of 1960s - 1980s. But that's not all. Can you ask about another Arturas Sakalauskas. Soldier Soviet Army, which killed 7 or 8 men in 1986 or 1987? What his fate?
And now in Alytus monument in memory died in Stalag-343 (military prisoners) and in camp for DP (displaced persons) existing or not?

Another Arturas Sakalauskas is alive but he didn't recovered fully psychically and still lives in the madhouse ...

What concerns Stalag I think monument should exist. In principal this camp wasn't in the town but was several kilometers outside in the forest and I wasn't in that place personally. I browsed Internet and found that there are plans to build new monument (message was dated 2009) but I think that new monument wasn't built yet.

I am so sad that he is still ill.

He was our hero when I studied at school. I even wanted to write an essay about that great man.

He killed 8 beasts but saved many thousands men.
