Life is a Highway

....and I'm going flat out on it lately. I've blown past radar detectors, speed traps, and red light cameras.

I blew off work, both house and paying, this weekend in order to:

take my husband out to dinner (candelight, waterfront, live jazz-type dinner)
go hiking at Cunningham Falls State Park
watch maple syrup being made
buy maple syrup (yum)
sign up ( Read more... )

cake, conventions, b5 re-watch, vacations or something like it, b5, challenges, camp, birthdays, real life, marriage, writing

Wow. You exhaust me just with the reading of that list.

I am glad you're *living* though.

The swimming plan seems self-preserving, and also good for both boys no matter what #1 says.

"I am glad you're *living* though."

The rest is after all, negotiable.

Yeah, #1 may have to live with pool time. I've been trying to carve out some time other than early in the a of m for writing, but it has not worked thus far. (You just want me to finish Susan/Delenn, don't you?!) Every time I sit down to write I have to read 'the story so far'. Once it gets long, that takes up all my time!

I just realized my Linux system will not handle the tax software I normally use...although it would work with the online version. Decisions, decisions.

Tonight I learned how to do screenshots with VLC! So there will be a couple of caps for tomorrow's Hour of the Wolf post. It's a rambling thing, with music and pictures and disjointed commentary. I do love the start of S4.
