Today marks another year. And in a few months, I'll be a year older, and... wow, time's moved so quickly, but so slowly, too. It's hard to believe so many things have happened in just a few years.

But it's okay! I can't dwell too much on the past, right? It'll just make me bitter, and that's the last thing I want.

Well, I can only hope that's true. I used to be called this city's shining light because of all of my optimism. I'd like to know where all of that went over the years.

I don't know if Lucian and Reine would be happy if I brought home a new cat. Reine's territorial over Lucian, and he's territorial over everything in the apartment. Maybe a rabbit, though...

Well, how many animals do you have now?

Just two cats, but it's been years since I've introduced a new animal into the family, so I'm not sure how they'll take it.

Three is getting close to being a cat lady, but not quite there... They might enjoy the company.

They might, considering all the work I've been doing lately. And it isn't as if it's going to cost too much more to feed another.
