Today marks another year. And in a few months, I'll be a year older, and... wow, time's moved so quickly, but so slowly, too. It's hard to believe so many things have happened in just a few years.

But it's okay! I can't dwell too much on the past, right? It'll just make me bitter, and that's the last thing I want.

Well, how many animals do you have now?

Just two cats, but it's been years since I've introduced a new animal into the family, so I'm not sure how they'll take it.

Three is getting close to being a cat lady, but not quite there... They might enjoy the company.

They might, considering all the work I've been doing lately. And it isn't as if it's going to cost too much more to feed another.

Funny that I ask for dissuasion and I get the exact opposite. I'm not complaining, but I'm surprised. Especially considering it's been years since we last talked, if I'm not confusing your face for someone else's.

... Oh, I see. Well, it's good to know I'm not the only one, then. Whenever I get around to adopting, would you like to name it? I've never been good with giving names to pets.
