Today marks another year. And in a few months, I'll be a year older, and... wow, time's moved so quickly, but so slowly, too. It's hard to believe so many things have happened in just a few years.

But it's okay! I can't dwell too much on the past, right? It'll just make me bitter, and that's the last thing I want.

Well, I can only hope that's true. I used to be called this city's shining light because of all of my optimism. I'd like to know where all of that went over the years.

I don't know if Lucian and Reine would be happy if I brought home a new cat. Reine's territorial over Lucian, and he's territorial over everything in the apartment. Maybe a rabbit, though...

There used to be, but... he's been gone for a while now. So it's just me, and has been for about four years now.
