you know what it is - you posted these mostly complete so you don't get repeat offenders coming back for the next chapter
that's my excuse and I'm sticking with it
but your Glass houses has more hits than most of my WK fics on there combined.
we should cast out our moral rectitude and work in XMFC like everyone else - they get hits!

Yeah, I figured that "Glass Houses"'s huge hit point is due to it being a WIP where people return to it when I post a new chapter.

Avengers and related heroes fic appear to be doing really well too. *g*

Yay hits! I must concur with seraphim_grace that if we were counting all hits in the history of ever (not just since these works have been up on AO3), I bet the counts would be in the bajillionties. Which is totally a word.

I often wonder what the hit points would be on my X-Files fics if something like a hit counter was available on sites when I wrote them, when they were hot. These days they don't get much attention. I've been writing fic for about 14 years but only joined AO3 three years ago. Some of my Weiß Kreuz fic is 10 years old!

So I should be a bajilliontaire? *g*

You also crosspost at your own site still too, right?

Yep! Always. I never have an idea of what kind of traffic my fic gets at my own site though.

Yeah, this 'hit count' thing is so new and strange to me still.
