As happens in a lot of animanga series, the supporting cast gets larger and larger, but Otomen's supporting cast isn't getting filled with interesting characters. I really thought, they would end xxxHolic on Yuko's disappearing. That would have been a perfect ending. Now I just don't know.

The impression I'm getting is that they're not wrapping this up anytime soon. I mean, if they've decided the plot is Watanuki's emotional evolution it could go on forever!

D. Gray-man was definitely disappointing, but I think they're building up to some major stuff next chapter. And I still loved Lenalee's relationship with her brother and Kanda going through swords like toothpicks.

Given how many volumes the Ark battle was, I assume nothing. I see they're building to a major Lenalee thing, and I did love her relationship with her brother. With all my skimming I didn't notice Kanda's sword thang aside from "Okay, Kanda is pissed. Still."

I'm always just glad that I read these by book and not by serialized chapter. I would've killed someone by the end of the Ark arc. I have friends who read it as it comes out and IIRC things move at a better pace for a bit. (Watch, that'll just be my fuzzy memory and nothing will happen next book.)

I read the second arc of Death Note chapter by chapter as fanlations came out, which really made me want to kill the writer for how long he dragged everything out and how many chapters were just "Light effortlessly pwns more people." I get that, let's move on!
