I've borrowed the early volumes of Katsura Hoshino's D.Gray-Man series, and I'm remembering how much I enjoyed them: the characters, the tone, the art. I also realized that the series started going wrong for me in volume 7 and never came back. Otomen volume #4: Asuka is still a charmer but to me this volume was mostly boring filler. As happens in a lot of animanga series, the supporting cast gets larger and larger, but Otomen's supporting cast isn't getting filled with interesting characters. With the ridiculous T&A, highly busy art style, and confusing story lines, the Get Backers manga ceased making much sense to me sometime around the insect clans plot. Japan Day in Central Park was fun at a lot of times, but there were a lot of long lines. I guess we should expect it with so much free stuff involved.
