Good Old Days
I've borrowed the early volumes of Katsura Hoshino's D.Gray-Man series, and I'm remembering how much I enjoyed them: the characters, the tone, the art. I also realized that the series started going wrong for me in volume 7 and never came back. Since 7 the art and story started becoming more difficult for me to follow, especially the often interminable battle sequences. When I browse the latest volumes at the bookstore I spend a lot of time wondering wtf I just looked at.
