My music collection stands at 18.92 GB in size, which means that it has now superseded the alloted memory on my darling 20 (really 18.5) GB iPod. Oy. Never put two people with perfect pitch together in the same room, and more importantly yet, do not let them remember that they have perfect pitch. When he is at the keyboard, he is one of the laziest pianists I think I've ever seen. He almost seems bored as he's rattling off some of the hardest piano technique in the instrument's repertoire, finds time to adjust his seat at least twice during the opening movement, and adds little flamboyant hand gestures at the end of his runs ( Read more... )

Just want to say that Ralph Vaughan Williams's "Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis" is a most brilliant piece of music, and the Master and Commander soundtrack did not do it justice by editing out, oh, half of it.

So Dad and I stop at every electronics store known to man, and no 20 GB iPod. Dammit. They have the rip-off mini iPod and that excessively large 40 GB one - but no 20 GB. So yeah. I'm annoyed. And Irene bought those garish bead-things that hang past her door. The ones with ladybugs.
