That's 250 years he has graced our world with a lot of amazing music that I only very recently begun to appreciate. :D I was thinking of going out and renting Amadeus just for kicks, but I instead spent all evening looking for some sort of booster for our wireless router with the farther.
Today, I thought a long while about what my favourite Mozart piece might be when I realised that I love way too many of them. So I'll upload them all to commemorate his genius (I will also sincerely try to make sure they're not all piano - you'll have to forgive my instrumental biases, really):
Piano Concerto No. 23 in A major, K. 488: Adagio - I heard this performed at the
Philadelphia Orchestra's Absolutely Mozart festival. Very emotional and tragic piece, and part of the only Mozart piano concerto I've ever played.
Violin Concerto No. 3, K. 216: Third Movement - A cute little ditty featured in the Master and Commander soundtrack.
Requiem in D minor, K. 626: Sequenz: Lacrimosa - I feel a bit bad uploading part of a death mass on the man's birthday, but so much love for the Requiem.
There are a few more, but the parents insisted that I go to bed. Eh. If you find Mozart to your taste, you may request more of it or anything else you'd like
here.
weekend, I'll get your stuff up tomorrow, when I don't have irritating parental figures to deal with. :D
Signing off, V.M. Bell
