iPod woes of a different source

My music collection stands at 18.92 GB in size, which means that it has now superseded the alloted memory on my darling 20 (really 18.5) GB iPod. This is a slight problem for me because (1) I do not plan on reducing the size of my library any time soon and (2) I'm the type that bought an iPod so I could have *all* of my music with me at *all* ( Read more... )

Yup, and busy reading about FDR and international disarmament during the Great Depression.

Ah. So I couldn't distract you with MSN? Though I remember just how excruciatingly fascinating it was reading about interwar disarmament...

And you can't spend all your earning on a new iPod because you've got to pay the bills.

*\o/* Precisely! You've made my case for me. :D

Hmm . . . I basically assured myself of the second iPod when I told them I'd rather have the thing than drive. I don't think that would work on your parents, though, who don't seem to be as touchy as mine about cars and their teenage daughter driving one. . . .

Got anything to sacrifice? I love the auction idea, though! Plus, you could always throw in some accessories that wouldn't work for a 5G and make it worth a tad more.

Sacrifice? "Um, Mom? If you let me get an iPod, I'll go to Montco for college and save you lots of money!"

I'm not quite that desperate yet! :D

But MontCo is really a very, very good school. . . .

Aw, *hugs*. My parents are being stupid too, so I send commiseration vibes. I am (and have been) convinced that the purpose of parents is to be stupid and whiney and so misunderstanding and incredibly fake and oblivious and not know when to drop something and be general asshats and, and - *breathes*.

I'm okay. And so are you. Because you will think of something, genius that you are! No, I'm really serious. This will work somehow. <3

I have one of those crazily tiny iPods (with, er, 2 or 4 GB, I forget), but I never figured out how to work it. But it is shiny. And black. And is pretty to stare at for ages. :P I feel really badly for neglecting it but I'm slightly Apple-phobic and just silly in general. :/

But now that I've had this window open for ages and you've made another post, I'll tell you something happy! I (onlysortofslightly) pimped gauntcest to my friend and she totally joined, lookit! This is a veritably exciting development in life.

Well, least you're not stuck with a mini that hardly ever works. :P

They, however, do not think very highly of my music
Lol, same with my parents. My Dad's always trying to hint that the music I listen to is crap, and that I should listen to something better, like the music he likes. *rollseyes*
