Today was Mom's 90th birthday. I am extremely lucky to have her still with me, and to get to spend the day with her. So today we ate Mexican food for lunch, then did some errands and finalized plans for the big party on Saturday. I love to read. I am not sure who to thank for that, but like many things in my life, it is probably my parents. My almost 90 year old Mom still reads several books a week. OK, something I want to experience is Istanbul. Turkey is my number one place that I want to visit. I love history and have always wanted to see this cultural crossroad. So I need to find some new intrepid travelers to explore with!

I am incredibly grateful to have had such amazing parents. They were married 67 years before my father passed away last year and my Mom turns 90 next month. The lived extraordinary lives and all of my personal integrity and values come from them.
