An ethereal, dreamy portrait of the Moore sisters -- Decima, Eva, Bertha, and Jessie -- all of them musical performers on the British stage in the early 1900s. This is a commercial real photo postcard from 1905.
PS, I had never heard of the Moore sisters. Now I want to go look up about their service during WWI. (Sort of like Josephine Baker in WWII for the French? I had read something somewhere that she'd actually tried to enlist/offer her services to the US, but at that time all they saw was a black woman, and turned her down. Ah, well, the French resistance was happy to have her.)
