Despite common belief otherwise, the other Yuugi wasn't actually all that talkative unless Yuugi was thinking about games. Granted, that was fairly often: when he wasn't doing schoolwork, or hanging out with Jounouchi, Honda, and Anzu, or helping stock the game shop, he was looking at Duel Monsters magazines, solving logic puzzles, or playing video games, and it was during these times that the spirit was most likely to 'come out' of his soul room and make comments, or ask, politely, for the chance to try himself. (The other Yuugi had turned out quite proficient at fighting games, although he actively preferred Zombie Funhouse Shoot-Em-Up and One Million Logic Puzzles For People With No Lives

But the best counseler Yuugi knew was definitely Anzu, and besides, Anzu liked the other Yuugi, so after that conversation Yuugi arranged the date, made sure he showed up, then locked himself in his soul room with the door shut so tight he couldn't hear or see or even feel where the other Yuugi went in his body. He played Zombie Funhouse Shoot-Em-Up and wondered if he was going to get his first kiss from Anzu, then never even know it happened.

When the day was over, he emerged to a thoughtful, quiet spirit. How did it go? he asked brightly.

The other Yuugi was looking at the bracelets Yuugi had put on him at the beginning of the day. "I have arranged a second outing," he said solemnly. "Next Sunday, at noon."

The Japanese theme kept freaking going, much to Dean's disappointment, and after accepting his prize from NUTCRACKER (Shrimp Chips - "Hey, Sam, these aren't bad"), they left the way they came and ended up in--

A little town. A hamlet, really, and it looked like it had jumped right out of the freaking nineteenth century. People were riding around on horseback wearing cloaks and top hats, the buildings were built with uneven brick, the road was made of cobblestone, and as much as Dean hated discovering he'd been given a costume change, he appreciated the wrap of warm, dark cloth against his skin. He definitely hadn't been dressed for dead-of-winter freezing cold when he and Sam had walked into the Trickster's trap.

Speaking of Sam, Sasquatch Boy was wearing a hilariously froofy fur-lined drape of a white coat and an eyepatch over one eye. And Dean as Kurogane. I was trying to decide whether or not to go for a fusion, then I decided that all the Tricker's TV Land stories were fusions and if Sam and Dean weren't made for those roles I don't know who was. @__@
