I thought it would be funny to do one of those 'icon mood' memes, mostly because it would read like this:

When the day was over, he emerged to a thoughtful, quiet spirit. How did it go? he asked brightly.
The other Yuugi was looking at the bracelets Yuugi had put on him at the beginning of the day. "I have arranged a second outing," he said solemnly. "Next Sunday, at noon."
So it went well? Yuugi asked, hope and disappointment warring inside him.
"Yes." The other Yuugi furrowed their shared brows. "You wouldn't answer when I called you."
I couldn't hear you, Yuugi answered honestly. I thought, you know ... it should be private.
The other Yuugi quirked their lips. "But I wanted to tell you about the card I found," he protested, then pulled the booster pack from a shopping bag to present it. Yuugi looked through their eyes and gasped with delight, and forgot all about being disappointed for a few critical hours as they discussed how to change their deck to include the new defensive card.

But the other Yuugi was a little bit less distant, offering his input in Yuugi's thoughts to occasional conversations. Yuugi was sure this was because of Anzu.
Anzu mentioned the Sunday date in passing, once, on Saturday. "Don't be late," she said, teasing, and Yuugi smiled and rubbed the back of his head.
"I'll tell him," Yuugi said. "I won't let him be late."
Anzu's smile faltered slightly. "Yuugi ..." It was almost exactly the same way the other Yuugi had said 'Aibou', a week before. "See you tomorrow."
"Well, kind of," Yuugi said as brightly as he could, with a laugh, and for a moment he kind of regretted ever setting up the first date. But he pushed that thought away, refusing to be jealous. If the other Yuugi was connecting with someone, on his own, it was good.

The other Yuugi was willing to take control of their body for the trip to Shibuya station this time, although he needed Yuugi's help to put money on the train pass. When he arrived at Hachiko, and he spotted Anzu, he waved, offering a casual, 'Yo,' and Yuugi prepared to duck into his soul room again. But before he could, like a shove in the back, he found himself in the driver's seat of his own body. He staggered, and, alarmed, he looked down at the Puzzle. Other me!?
Turnabout is absolutely fair play, Aibou, the other Yuugi said, and Yuugi blushed to the roots of his hair. Then he had the impression of a great stone door shutting in his face, and the other Yuugi was gone, not a whisper of his presence anywhere.
Anzu gave a worried frown. "Yuugi? Are you all right?"
"Fine," Yuugi squeaked, then cleared his throat. "I'm fine." He gave a nervous smile. "I'm sorry. The other me, he's--"
"I know," Anzu said, and the smile she offered was so sad Yuugi's heart clenched. "We had a great time last week, but he's worried about you. So we kind of ... planned this together." She bit her lip. "You really didn't know?"
Yuugi knew Anzu wasn't entirely sure there were actually 'two' Yuugis. Yuugi knew, but it was hard to not know when the spirit actually shared his body; still, it was a big concession to make, and Yuugi felt a surge of affection and guilt. "But you--" he protested, then stopped. You like the other me.
Anzu must have read his mind. "I like hanging out with you, Yuugi," she said with a more genuine smile. "Whether it's 'you' or 'the other you'. Come on, let's go have some fun."
Yuugi blushed again, and this time it had nothing to do with the other Yuugi. He smiled, and shoved his hands in his pockets, and tried to stand a little straighter. "Where did you want to go?"
