Thanks so much for posting this, Brad! It always fascinates me to hear the vidder's interpretation of their own work, and what intention was behind certain parts, and whether that was apparent to me or if I saw it a different way.

I'm glad you liked it, LH! I normally feel pretty reserved as far as talking about my own work, but it was easy to talk about this one because it's not really all about me, you know?

No, totally, it's about all of us. I almost ended up helping Nicky with her bit, actually, but the video camera wasn't available on the day we met up.

I remember her mentioning that! I remember being envious that you got to see her.

It really means a lot to me to read this, thank you.

it really made the show appealing and frankly quite beautiful!
It certainly didn't need any help from us on that front! I hope you enjoy the series if you choose to watch it. It's kind of like joining a big, loving, and dysfunctional family. But a really fun one.

HA! Great commentary you guys. I really enjoyed this and feeling further included in the creative process of the vid. It's funny, but as a Firefly fan, I already feel part of the process with this vid because of the way you went about doing it. To be included even further? Ah. <3

Such a beautiful vid and a beautiful meta on fans and fandom. Gives me chills every time.

That's one of the best compliments I can imagine. :) Thank you so much! And I'm really glad you enjoyed watching the commentary.

I secretly love the audio commentaries because it means spying on everyone's accent. And Brad, either your accent isn't that thick, or I've spent way too much time around southern relatives growing up. Either way it could be far, far worse. : P

What's especially neat about this commentary is the fact that you guys actually went out and did stuff to gather all the external source. Like, physically tangibly making things. So many random anecdotes to draw from that way. Usually commentary has to have a more 'dry' quality that's all about analysis, because sharing anecdotes about the stuff you passively think about while sitting around at a computer just isn't as exciting. This is so refreshingly different and awesome, sort of like the vid.

*cringe* Well, I'm glad you could understand what I was saying. I feel like kind of a half-breed accent-wise because people here call me a "yankee" (apparently I don't sound redneck enough) and people elsewhere sometimes tell me they can't understand what I'm saying because I sound so redneck. So... yeah.

There were so many people doing so much for the vid... even Laura and I will never know *everything* that went into it. I'm really glad you found it interesting. :)

Fantastic commentary! I loved getting to see and hear some of what went on in making the vid. It was a really cool behind-the-scenes view. :)
