I love the behind the scenes, documentary feel of this! Especially the part where you had to reshoot the rain scene with Kim like a billion times. That was AWESOME. :D

Hee, glad you like the rain outtakes. I cut out almost all of the cursing from Kim and I. We both got pretty frazzled out there. But I just wanted to give people a sense for how much was done for the vid by so many people, you know?

Those scenes in the rain blew my mind. I don't think I'd have had the patience to do that for myself, much less for somebody else. Kim is a hero!

And Brad is a genius, but ssh! Don't tell him, or he'll spend half an hour denying it.

I have to echo Alex's comment about this being a great companion to Ian's commentary.

It definately gives a wholistic insight into vid from both the creators & fans.

I was actually fake-listening to my mp3 player, because the battery was deader than dead. Will leave comments on the commentary when I'm not all stealing time from history congress-type things! Can't wait!

Okay, I lied, I totally watched it.

I loved it, and I kept laughing and going "awww, Brad! Kim! Laura! Paul's arms!"

I loved seeing the test footage, that was really interesting! (although, I'd seen caps of it from the spread sheet you sent us from what you wanted)

I'm still amazed at how the vid came together and how strongly it resonates with the fan in me (and with more and more fans!). I think Laura's idea to have other people contribute, and then the fact that the contributions actually turned up from different areas of the world (and oh, across two languages too!) really gave the vid such an all-englobing feeling. I think it would have been a fantastic vid even with the initial concept, but that gave it an entirely new dimension.

I actually fell off my bike once, trying to balance the camera, mp3 player and finding the right angle to shoot from. I totally didn't share that bit of information before you made the commentary to make sure you wouldn't mention it!

That mp3 thing is a prime example of how there are just *so many* behind-the-scenes stories about how this vid came together. There are so many people involved and so much went into it, that even *I* don't know about. I think that's kind of cool.

Glad you enjoyed this, and sorry about your spill! I didn't notice a limp or anything at VVC... though I guess if you got a scar it would be a "cool vidding scar"? :)

LOL. It was amusing, more than anything. I kind of had the brilliant idea to go bike in the woods and shoot it (I can't remember if I sent you that footage too) and kind of...ended up in the bushes. Didn't get hurt though.
