She doesn't keep him waiting long. Soon the door is opened, and he is hugged. "Hello Jas."

*He steps straight into the hug, seemingly relaxed today, which is probably for the best considering he's going to be spending time in Company*

She purrs contentedly, nuzzling his cheek. "How are you?"

There's a knocking at the door. Fay's wearing one of his new outfits, the not-tempting one, and strangely enough, Mokona as a hat. Kurogane is not with him... yet, though he left the ninja clear instructions on how to get there.

Ali answers the door, grinning when she sees Fay and Mokona. "Hello! Please, come in."

"Hello, Ali-san!" Fay gives her a swift hug and goes in, looking around with interest. "How have you been?"

*the captain watches from the sofa, not making a move until he's been introduced. It's only polite, after all.*

Kurogane raps on the door with the back of his hand, hoping he managed to remember the instructions on how to get there properly. He was fine until something - or, more accurately, someone - caught his eye and gave him reason to worry. Unfortunately, he won't even know if he's at the right place when someone answers the door, because he doesn't even know Fai's friend. Or so he thinks. Sometimes there are drawbacks to not bothering to learn people's names.

Sometimes there are indeed. When she's opened the door and looked at him, Ali gives Kuro a confused but pleasant smile. "Hi again! Can I help you with something?"

This person seems familiar, and apparently recognises him, but that is absolutely no help. He makes a mental note to get Fai to introduce him to his friends before sending him over to their houses alone.

"Are you Ali?" The Nexus should provide nametags, he decides, if there are so many people wandering about it. Not that he would use people's names even then, but it would make distinguishing between them easier.

Does it help that Fay identifies Kurogane then with a happy call of "KURO-SAMA!" and a pounce. Fay wraps his arms around Kurogane, beaming. "You're late, Kuro-ku~"

*Perhaps he heard the party in the basement, or perhaps his firelizard alerted him to the smell of food, but in any case Mortimer makes his way downstairs.*

Hey love.

*He looks around.* Hello Captain. Hello everyone.

"Oh! Hello love." She turns to him with a smile. "What's up?"

*He smiles back.* Nothing much. I just thought I'd see what what going on down here.

*The brown firelizard is perched on his shoulder and trying to look like he is undeniably deserving of treats.*

"We were just going to start the movies. Would you like to join us?" She holds a hand out to Raz, offering him a broken-up tortilla chip.

Once everyone's got their food and has found an agreeable seat, Ali starts the first movie (The Princess Bride) and sits down in the middle of the sofa with her food.

*the captain, whose appetite has deserted him, is picking absently at pizza until the film starts: and then he's utterly intrigued by the whole procedure. Never mind the story, look at the way it moves...*

She glances over at him after a few minutes, then scoots closer to feed him. Honestly, he's so helpless sometimes.

*And for once he's too occupied to object. Movies were definitely a good idea for a man like Hook. He does so enjoy a bit of drama and spectacle, and a story told well. He manages to tear his gaze from the screen long enough to glance at Ali with a quirked smile*
