I'm posting on livejournal (my once a yearish post) to tell everyone about Anime NebrasKon, a Midwest anime convention. We have over 100 activities scheduled this year (panels, gaming tournaments, contests, etc.). We're hoping to break 1,000 attendees this year (wish us luck!). I put our convention on a waiting list to get an experimental Google Analytics account, and we got in. :D It's HIGHLY awesome at telling you where people are coming from, what particular page they're going to, how much TIME they spend on each page, what page they usually go to next, how often they visit....etc. etc. ANYHOW, I noticed something ( Read more... )

So my dad's cancer is WORSE they told us today....which I think we already knew, considering the small bump on his neck has become a really huge bulge. Sigh. Isn't treatment supposed to HELP? It seems that since he's been on it, he's just been worse! They told him to make sure he had burial plans ready today, and then they turn around and tell him ( Read more... )
