It's been really busy on this trip. We've been working hard and long and getting a good bit done. We forgot to turn off the sprinkler last night so it ran all night long. We haven't had rain in at least 4 or 5 days (probably more) and it's been very hot, so it might not have been a bad thing. We'll see how the back yard responds. Maybe we'll end up leaving the sprinkler on in the big side yard overnight....

They poured the concrete for the curb at the end of the driveway yesterday after it stopped raining. Today they took out the forms and it looks like they will be pouring the apron. They already did our neighbor's, but then the truck left, so who knows if they will be back today or not. I hope so, because they said it should cure for about 3 days ( Read more... )

We have been working for over a year now on our curb appeal. It turns out that this year, we are lucky enough to have the city fixing all of the bad curbs, sidewalks, and driveway aprons in our part of the neighborhood.
