We were gone Friday evening and most of Saturday, as W detailed in her blog (mswewh), so we didn't really get anything done then, but I did run to Home Depot and buy some mildew-resistant primer/sealer for the shower walls Saturday night and started cleaning up the greenboard surface in the girls' shower ( Read more... )

W finished patching the driveway last night while I put the girls to bed. Then I worked on the wall in the garage a bit. Still a ways to go on that before it can be painted, but at least there is progress. Two of our female neighbors came over and chatted with W while she worked and afterwords. I was opening the garage door yesterday when I saw a mouse come around the corner of the house heading for the garage. It turned and ran back to the front porch and hid between the overhang on the front step and our welcome mat.
