MSNBC was airing archival footage of 9/11 this morning. I sat and watched it all unfold again--before it was over, there were tears streaming down my face, but I looked at this as an offering of prayer for all the people affected by that tragic day

It saddens me still, too. That sadness is certainly not helped by the fact that civilian casualties from the Iraq invasion are now estimated to be 30 times as many lives lost in the World Trade Centre attack, and around half of all people who've been polled in various countries are ok with that, because they still believe the Iraq was involved in the WTC attack.

No one remembers that an eye for an eye and a life for a life makes us blind and cruel.
