Mostly, I have been learning Finnish...
My drop-in class on Wednesdays has at least allowed me to meet other people, both Finn and non-Finn. The teachers are all very helpful, but there is little structure to the lessons and so I can't easily see any progress in my own learning (cue guilt reflex).

Dreams
Last night I dreamt I was made homeless.
Apparently I had been living in a shed by the side of a lane and when I got dropped off by a work colleague and they asked where I lived I found two old men picking over the planks of my dismantled home. Quite disturbing.

Clearing out my life.
Today I have been packing things into boxes. I only have four boxes, so will have to be selective for now.
I have been able to let go of most of my stash of knitting yarn. if anyone wants some, please let me know as it will be heading for the charity shop this week.

I wanna go to Helsinki!
I do actually really want to go. Well, actually to Espoo, but it isn't far from Helsinki.
First I have to apply for a passport - my last one was in my maiden name and I got it just to go to Canada and get engaged in 2000. It became fairly redundant after the first October when I got married.
