Okay, here's the copy/paste version of my day.

I was going to meet foxfire74 for lunch and my tire blew out. Like shredded blew out. My sugar was crashing at the time (my fault on that), and I pulled into a parking lot of a shopping center. A guy from Ace Hardware came out and actually changed my flat and donut, noticed the donut was flat, took it off ( Read more... )

Holy cow, no wonder you were exhausted. It's awesome that you found someone so kind to help.

Pretty much. And last night, all the stress of the day made my sugar crash *again*. I didn't get up until 1 today. I felt it was much deserved after the day from hell yesterday. I got really lucky with the help. My karmic debt being returned back to me, I think. I need to send out the same in order to recieve again when I need it.

There is no reward better than sleeping in.

Except that I didn't get to sleep in so much as have a fitful rest.

Damn tyres they always seem to blow out in the rain! You're lucky you had some nice people there though. When mine blew I had some creepy guy come out of nowhere and laugh at me...not a nice thing when it's dark but luckily the RAC dudes came out and fixed it all up for me.

Do they? This is the first flat I've ever had, and boy was I slightly panicking. Creepy guy should have just moved out without mocking. There was no need. Honestly. *shakes head* What's RAC? And I think that was my karmic debt being returned. I have to pay it forward...keep the cycle going.

The RAC is our Royal Automobile Club, you pay $60 for the basic package and they come and rescue you when your car breaks. So for me with no car knowledge whatsoever, they're a lifesaver.

Ahh, kinda like are AAA, the automobile club. Luckily on my insurance, I have roadside service added in. I'm as unknowable about cars as you are, actually I just found where to put the water in the thing. *snort*

*hugs* I am too! I mean, honestly it could have been so much worse. Like majorly. I'm still drained, no energy, from yesterday. It'll take a few days to recover. Plus, I'm trying to not get sick from being in the rain (of course, it's not raining today).
