[Waver had just come from the Post Office, minus a few body parts.]

[The visible losses were obvious, considering the bloody stump that was his left arm and the sunken socket of his right eye.  He was clutching the empty arm of his shirt against the wound; it didn't do much to staunch the blood flow, and both his side and the sidewalk were stained ( Read more... )

[Coming home from work and not really bothering to change out of her maid outfit Ruri peered at the man in a bloody heap on the street]

"Baka."

[She then walked over and pulled her normal clothes out and some scissors, beginning to cut them and start bandaging as a holographic panel opened in front of her.]

"Omoikane, do you have any first aide data? You do? Good, show it."

[She then begins applying basic first aide]

[Being very unconscious, there wasn't anything that Waver could do to stop her.]

[Considering how irritable he was on a good day, this might have been a good thing.]

[She slides her bag under his head as a pillow and keeps bandaging, looking up at the floating instructions frequently and muttering about idiots as she does so, when the job is done she'll nod and sit down next to him]

"You went to the post office, didn't you?"

[Just... passing by when...

Dear Lord what - oh of course another that went to the post office. Stopping short in her track, she quickly makes her way over, but aware that he might be too much in pain to notice her, do shout out while she attempts to place herself in his way.]

H-Hey! Please stop; you'll only lose more blood if you keep running like this!

[Waver stopped when he found someone in his way-- his vision was too hazy to make out who. He was swaying unsteadily on his feet; it looked like a stiff breeze would knock him over.]

G-get out of my way.

...How reckless. That's out of the question.

[Then he'll just witness a white blur close in - the color of her blouse, before his right eyelid is gently pressed down by her palm. Her other hand reaches out to steady his shoulder so that he doesn't fall. Before he can attempt to struggle though, a faint cooling sensation will start to spread from somewhere inside his skull, expanding slowly while it gradually eases away the pain of the missing eye.

Not that he can see, but while the blood on his face is still trickling through her fingers, the flow did begin to decrease, less and less until the bleeding's stopped completely. ...She can only frown as the seconds ticked by, however; she can take care of his slump of an arm next, but she can also tell by that point that there's additional internal damage somewhere in there too. Sheesh, how much did this kid lose, and how careless has he been?!]

[In addition to the arm and eye, Waver had lost two-thirds of his liver and a kidney. He'd had a bit of a rough time at the Post Office.]

[He jerked his head back when she put a hand over his eye; if she hadn't been holding onto his shoulder, he probably would've fallen.]

What are you--

[The relief that spread through his head was welcome, though he had plenty of other injuries to make up for it.]

[Mini-you is peering. PEERING.

Before he runs a finger across the ground in the blood and then tastes it. Feels good man.]

[...]

[He is going to choose to believe that this is a hallucination brought on by blood loss.]

[And hope that he goes away.]

You seem to be having a little trouble there. Need some help healing that?

[He turned his head to look at him, and had to turn it further than usual to actually keep him in his diminished field of vision.]

N-no. I don't.

[You are creepy, look like him and you were tasting his blood. He doesn't know what kind of help you'd be giving him, and he doesn't want to find out.]

((Let's have this be after the healing.))

[Ciel took care of the worst of the damage-- Waver had just passed out from low blood volume, and wasn't currently in immediate danger.]

[He is really bloody, though. That was one set of clothes utterly ruined.]

[You can be damn sure that you're failing that class that you have Waver for in the future if you leave him on this sidewalk, though, Rin.]

[Rider is walking home from work... and sees a very, very familiar face... in a very, very terrible state...Which was able to make him very, visibly upset.]

Waver, you alright? Who the hell did this to you?

[Waver's vision was hazy and swimming from leaving most of his blood on the sidewalk, but Rider's shape was unmistakable.]

Rider--

[Adrenaline could only keep him going for so long, though, and Waver was at his limits. The world tilted alarmingly and the ground came up to meet him.]

[Thud.]

[Rider'll pick him up gently, for a change, and carry Waver back to his house on Bilko. Those wounds need to be treated, and while he probably has no clue what he's doing goddammit he won't let a comrade die on his watch.]

[Waver was only marginally conscious by that point and, for once, not complaining about being picked up. And hopefully Rider wasn't too fond of his clothes, because he was going to be bleeding all over them.]
