So my company ordered pizza for people yesterday, and were kind enough to order a veggie only pizza for the couple of us vegans there. I've signed up to participate in the MS 150. Essentially you ride your bike 150 miles over two days in order to support the National MS Society. In order to participate, you have to raise $200 for the organization. my boyfriend and i are both vegan. we just talked, and he told went to several grocery stores and couldn't find any seitan or tofurky for christmas dinner, so he might just eat the salmon his family is having instead. my intial reaction to that was obviously "are you fucking serious? just eat the vegetables side dishes and make pasta or something.
