PROVE DAIRY IS BAD.

I haven't had to argue in a long time, but today is apparently the day for it. I would appreciate any and all links regarding why dairy is extra bad for you. This website has a mix of references to scholarly journals, newspapers, and hearsay, so it's not entirely A+ academic info, but I think you might actually be able to track down some of the journal articles that it lists in the various categories and go from there.

Good luck! And tell us what you find; I'm sure I'm not the only one interested.

Check out John Robbins' books "The Food Revolution", and "A Diet for a New America". He has great sources, that are scientific data.

Yes! This book was fabulous when I went vegan. I gave it to my mother who'd done nothing but listen to the "scientific facts" braying from my younger brother, and she became fully supportive of me after seeing that I, too, had valid scientific data supporting veganism.

If you go this route, try for the 2nd edition of DfaNA, since I think it has significant updates. (iirc - someone please tell me if I'm wrong!)

Not only that, but we're the only species on the planet that habitually consumes another species' milk.

A lot of people don't find that weird for some reason. I don't get much interest from that point, either.

Related to bonehealth so you may not need it, but this study found that vegans replenished lost calcium faster than omnivores.

Also the books of Dr John A MacDougall including "Second Opinion".

Good luck!
