I just wanted to tell everyone THANK YOU for letting me know about this movie.  I had no idea it was out there and I just watched it tonight -- God, I feel like I was emotionally drug around by a tractor.  I watched it for free but I am buying it so that I have something to show people, and to watch every now and then myself so that I never get too

I watched about 3 minutes of it yesterday and it was REALLY hard. I do want to sit down and watch it with my boyfriend to see if it will tip him from veggie to vegan. I also want to know what's in it before I recommend it to others. I mean I've heard reviews, but see for myself.

Wow, great news about your husband! I physically felt that film for days and days after watching it, it was intense. Have you seen any of the Tribe of Heart documentaries? They have a new one out this autumn/fall. The preview is here if you want to look at it. (It's safe and non-intense.)

Actually, just looked at it again and there are some bits in it that I hadn't remembered that are kinda distressing, but it's safe compared to Earthlings! :|

I also want to thank everyone who recommended this movie. I had never seen it, although I have been vegetarian for a few years and vegan for a few months. It definitely made me realize how incredibly incredibly glad I am that I made the transition. I couldn't look during some parts and I literally felt sick after watching it....powerful stuff.
