Tahini Cookies?

I want to make some tahini cookies but I can't seem to find the right recipe. I recall seeing a photo of some cookies, I think here or on veganfoodpics, that looked perfect: big flat cookies covered in white and black sesame seeds. Hmm. So maybe I could make that and just leave out the lime. Do you know if it has agave/shortening/other fussy ingredients in it? I could get those but I'm trying to come up with a super-simple recipe, something I can make on a whim as long as I have tahini in the fridge.

It has shortening (I use earth balance), sugar, tahini, a splash of nondairy milk, vanilla, flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, and black sesame seeds (plus lime zest, which you wish to omit).

I would hardly call shortening a fussy ingredient for cookies! You'll be hard pressed to find something that doesn't require a fat other than the tahini.

I have shortening on hand, but it's expensive and takes up space in the fridge. I'm inspired by the sparkled ginger cookies which have oil as their only fat and come out with the perfect chewy texture. I'm going for a minimalist recipe.
