The first thing that springs to mind is adding chick peas, but then again I could add chick peas to almost everything...

It's two tablespoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of lemon zest, 1 can of vegetable broth, some salt and pepper and two teaspoons of olive oil to one cup of couscous. The lemon is there, just not strongly, but enough to really add some zing of something else was added.
