Cupcake batter!

Jun 12, 2009 22:50

My oven broke!

I now have leftover cupcake batter (soda + cake mix). Can I do anything with this? Or is it a lost cause and I can resume my soda-cupcake experiment when my oven gets fixed?

For the moment I ate a cupcakes worth of batter with a spoon. Of course 12 are already in the paper and will need to be thrown out, unless you are all very

My 80 year old neighbor is probably sleeping at 11 pm.

You can keep it in the fridge for a few days if covered well, not sure how it will do if you freeze it.

I have absolutely no room in my fridge. My friend is having a party tomorrow and storing stuff in my fridge and I picked up my CSA share yesterday.

The party does not look like it will contain cupcakes.

My crazy roommate hid it, and she is in Pittsburg and not answering the phone.

Microwaves wouldn't be helpful, would they?

you could try microwaving it. i usually make my microwave coffee cup cakes with a thicker batter than most of my cupcake batters, but you can give it a shot! try 30 seconds and go up in increments of 15...

I'd try this. Lowish heat so all that sugar doesn't burn before they cook through...
