Cupcake batter!

My oven broke!

I now have leftover cupcake batter (soda + cake mix). Can I do anything with this? Or is it a lost cause and I can resume my soda-cupcake experiment when my oven gets fixed?

For the moment I ate a cupcakes worth of batter with a spoon. Of course 12 are already in the paper and will need to be thrown out, unless you are all very

I don't have any advice on how to cook them, but the soda cupcake thing works.

I make my cupcakes like that all the time - but I use 12oz of seltzer instead of regular or diet soda.

Everyone who has tried them has absolutely loved them and couldn't believe that I didn't use any eggs or oil to make them.

i HEARD you can freeze them. my google search came up with this:

apparently they won't rise correctly and they need to thaw for hours on end but its better than tossing it out. hope this isn't too late!

also soda cupcakes that I made with root beer came out totally great looking, but would have definitely tasted better if I used a different type of soda. they rise well and have good moisture/texture etc. so cheap and good. the seltzer idea seems good, I am gonna try it instead of diet soda cos chemicals, pew.

Do you have a grill with a warming rack and a temp gauge? I've baked cookies on the grill before. This makes me want to try cupcakes.
