crumble cookies

Hey everyone! I thought I would pass along a cookie recipe that I recently posted here at vegweb. They are really easy and really good!

Ingredients
1 cup vegan buttery spread (at room temp.)
1 1/2 cups white sugar
3/4 cup walnuts
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup flour
1 cup quick cooking rolled oats

Can turbinado sugar replace the granulated (white) sugar?

I haven't tried it, but I'm fairly sure it could (especially if you do the first step in the food processor). In any event, I can't imagine that it would affect the recipe significantly! Good luck and happy baking!
