thanksgiving 2006 ideas for those who like to start things early

So i am well aware that thanksgiving is 23 days away, but i am still curious as to what meals and dishes people are looking forward to or excited to try. True it is a bit early and halloween is tomorrow but i figured i would start this topic early for those of you who like to prepare 23 or + days ahead...jk. don't forget to look in the memories and tags for questions such as the tofurkey one.

(i'm not impressed with it. i much prefer bryanna's soy+seitan loaf. recipes are here somewhere.)

I (and my omni boyfriend) like the Tofurky Turkey.. We've had it twice now, Christmas last year and Thanksgiving this year (Which was Oct 9 here in Canada).

ive had both the tofurky turkey and the unturkey... i think the unturkey is better, the tofurky has a kind of a funny texture... but the tofurky is way cheaper, so i usually get that, its still good, but not as good as the unturkey.
