Cashew Gravy

Anyone have a tasty uses for cashew gravy? I stewed some up a couple days ago and mixed it in with a stir fry i made for dinner but there is still ALOT of it left! I'm thinking i might mix it in with some wheat flour and make some sort of bread out of it to get rid of the rest.

nuts-cashews, condiments-gravy

I would make a vegan loaf of some kind and use that as the liquid to get everything to mush together. Then I'd serve it on top. You could also use it to thicken/flavor a soup/stew or mix with veggie crumbles for a shepherd's pie...or even use it as the base for a pot pie.

This was VERY improvised so the resulting taste may vary!

1 1/2 c cashews
2 c water
1/2 Tbs. cornstarch
several shakes of salt & onion powder to taste

Puree ingredients in a blender until it gets to a paste. Should make about 32 tablespoons.

If you have a freezer, put the gravy in individual pots and freeze it for later use.
