Perhaps he was not the person Silver wanted to see. He could even be the last person, considering that some of the Pokeballs on his person did not include members of his team at all, but Silver's.

Yet N still walked up to him, his head clear of crowns, cat ears, and even his baseball cap. He had stuffed his hands in his pockets to hide his nervousness, the confidence he had displayed just a few days earlier gone with his crown.

The boy stopped a few feet away from Silver, not completely meeting his eyes when he glanced at him.

"...hey."

"What." Yes. it is the last person in the world(s) that Silver wanted to see. Well hear, though that venous look is, for now, directed at the 'sky'. At least he's not on his feet and ready to punch someone. Yet.

Though the same couldn't be said for the twich of his own hand to his pokeballs.

N hesitated, silent for a long moment as he warred with himself. Should he do this or not?

He thinks of Gold's words, and those of Minato and Aniki...their faith wars with his own considerations of humanity. What does he do?

His own fingers twitch. Then he slowly takes one of the Pokeballs off of his belt and crouches down, placing it into Silver's palm.

It takes a long moment to register what happened and then that pokeball is disappearing into Silver's pockets like lightening. He doesn't care what one is in the pokeball, just that one of his is back in his possession.

"...Thanks." It's mumbled, more under his breath than anything, and he's not looking at N, rather the 'sky'. If one knows Silver, it's typical avoidance of something or ten that's on his mind.

Cynthia had heard what had happened, but only second-hand. Through rumor. Word of mouth.

It doesn't surprise her all that much.

So when she goes to find Silver in the aftermath, and finds him at the lake, she doesn't speak a word. She approaches, with enough noise to let him know she was there, and gently reaches out, touching his shoulder with the very tips of her fingers.

It's an automatic reaction to reach up and slap the hand away, though he does flinch when he notices it's one of his Mentors. Someone he -

No. Just a person who Did Not Matter.

Then why does he feel so much more guilty now that she's Here and not just a mostly easy thought that can be shoved aside? He should not - he doesn't need to impress anyone at all. He never had never will.

"... Yes?" Both his face and voice are stone cold - not that it's much different from his normally demeanour.

She was unfazed by his initial response, giving him a moment before offering her hand to him.

"Let's go. We'll try again," she said, in a quiet, level, and neutral tone. "No time to worry about the past. We have to deal with the present, and prepare for the future."

"I only have two on me, but alright." Anything that was a distraction from his thoughts was welcome. Anything that would aid in shoving the stupid feelings down he'd take. He had no use for them - they'd make him weaker in the end because it would lead to doubt over actions.

He didn't take offered hand though, preferring to get himself up off the grass.

I CAN NEVER STOP BOTHERING YOU WITH HIM I'M SORRY nos_servabit September 15 2011, 03:44:46 UTC
[There's a familiar presence standing nearby. A very kind and benevolent presence.]

...What happened, Silver?

ITS OK! brbstealingpknm September 15 2011, 07:59:43 UTC
Nothing. Just stupid shit.

[That's what it was, Stupid Shit. Shit that he'd rather not think or talk about, as it only feed his doubts and thoughts, and in turn pissed him off because of the helplessness he felt when it came to the doubts.]

Put this off for long enough, ne? limitless_land September 15 2011, 09:27:36 UTC
[He had shed his usual coat nearby, instead clad in an outfit Demyx would never pick out in a million years. who wears metallic pants, anyway? Still, nothing of relevance other than the blindfold still being over his eyes.

Okay, and him being nearby. He can't help but notice the body language, either. So much for resting from construction work in peace.] Something wrong?

XD Have at him! Also, Silver would swing a a good handful or so of degrees to the dark brbstealingpknm September 15 2011, 09:53:52 UTC
No. [Short, sweet and rude, though Silver wasn't aiming to win any prizes for niceness. He really just wanted to be left alone - not that he expected it in this city of people with nothing better to do.

Though he did do a double take based on what he could see lying down anyway.] Aren't you...?

[It's too bad he doesn't really give a damn. If Ansem is King of the Heartless, he is the equivalent to Snark. Still, he knows some things far too well, and with that double take--yes, he can still sense that.]

Ah. I take it you know my 'brother.' [It's the only nice way to put it.]

'Brother'? [Silver's only vaguely interested, He's not sure what happened to his minion after Friday.

And he squashes the part that wants to know. Because it was a stupid curse, and he didn't really care for having a minion. Even if he knows that it's false, that the curse just amplified parts of his behaviour.]

[ Despite the entire hat related fiasco, Mokona was never one to give up on someone. Sure, the fear was there but deep in his little meatbun heart he knew better. It wasn't the real Silver who did the things he did. He was under some spell. That was certain.

So, approach, he did though with a measure of hesitation and a comforting little flipper-paw was placed on the boy's fist. Were he to look as to what touched him, Silver would see the little black rabbit looking up at him with his ears flat and a measure of concern on his barely discernible features.]

.... One would think that you'd be avoiding me. [Silver's more mellow now, but only just. It's turned more into the art of shove all the 'stupid' doubts and emotions away, ruthlessly squashing his more fond memories of the Rockets and delude himself into think that he's not a coward or a thief.

Even though by doing this, he is a coward, and running away from what's bothering him.]

[ A slight shake of the head. Nope. Not going anywhere. Just gonna scooch in a little closer for a comforting little snuggle. ]

Mokona knows you're not all that bad. You were just acting weird.
