Despite their more than occasional snickers at the foreigners' expense this week, the locals of Vatheon haven't skimmed on the festival they are organizing this Saturday; the smells of delicious foods start drifting all through out the bubble from an early hour and soon the streets are busy with people setting up booths, stages for fight and play. [his fascination of this new world, almost - this odd existence, with levels and names and monsters to raise his ability - drove him to dominate his newfound abilities, to work for the same careful, controlled and powerful status he had in the other Vatheon. he drove himself to rise above level 5, and did not stop until he'd hit level 50.

and it was a liiiittle bit obnoxious to him that he was automatically smacked back down to level 30 just for a fight. he didn't have this damper on his real abilities, and getting into a outside of the curse would probably end in his victory, but that made it just a little exciting, too. there was a chance he could lose. it all came down to skill, and if he didn't have it?

but he was confident in his abilities. they were close enough to his original abilities that he didn't have to learn an entirely new skillset.

and then he saw Lea.

he gives a little half-smile, almost a smirk, and then begins to stretch.]

[Lea almost can't start soon enough. It's not that the other person is late or anything, it's just that he's antsy. He wants to take on a real challenge. Sure, he's fought some high level monsters. Those were fine.

But there's nothing like fighting against another player in a game. That's where the real unpredictability lies.]

That's okay, Rue doesn't mind the darkness. She likes it in fact, and she's just hiding away, away from all the noise and the people and the lights. The thought doesn't even occur to her that it might be unsafe, so she stands comfortably, leaning against the wall as she watches people at the game booths.

They all look so weird--but then again, so does she. A Curse, that's what everyone was saying--

She jumps a little at his voice, taking her away from her comfortable spot on the wall. She's less frightened though, when she realizes the voice is a familiar one. And she looks at him calmly with a shrug.

...too many people, too much noise.

Really just not her idea of fun. :|
